Three young adults were hospitalized, including a male with possible life-threatening injuries, after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Damascus Road and Duke Street in Bedford around 2 p.m. yesterday.

Halifax Regional Police say one vehicle turned in front of another and was struck. The occupants of a silver Volkswagen were the three injured, while the driver of the SUV wasn’t hurt.

Paul Maynard of Emergency Health Services said the other two injured were both females and listed in stable condition at hospital. He didn’t know the exact ages of the injured, but said they were all in their late teens or early 20s.
