$34B set aside for infrastructure

Ontario’s stimulus plan will see billions of dollars put into the province’s roads, hospitals, schools and training programs in a bid to create jobs and boost the sagging economy.

Thursday’s budget is promising $34 billion over two years to stimulate economic activity, including $27.5-billion for roads, schools, transit and hospitals. It will be topped up to $32.5 billion with a $5 billion investment from Ottawa.
