5 Ways to have fun in Verbier

A modern resort built in traditional chalet style, Verbier is without a doubt one of Europe’s best ski destinations. With incredible skiing, a vibrant nightlife and breathtaking mountains, there’s no shortage of things to do.

Since Verbier boasts some of the most challenging skiing in the Alps, a lot of the slopes are better suited for intermediate and advanced skiers, but don’t panic: there are slopes appropriate for rookies as well. The après ski and nightlife are as good as the skiing itself, so after a hard day on the slopes, get ready to party even harder.

Heli-ski
Why take the ski lifts with everyone else when you can take a private helicopter to untouched snow where you will be the only one speeding down the slopes to the bottom — where you will be met with jealous eyes

The Milk Bar
It may seem simple, but the famous hot chocolate from the Milk Bar is not to be missed after a day out on the cold slopes. Just ask any Verbier visitor.

Chez Dany
A great restaurant for regional dishes. You can bring a toboggan with you on the lift, then, after your warming meal, take your toboggan for a ride back down the slopes. Not your average commute.

Paragliding
Paraglide off the slopes for the best views of the mountains. Pick out the quietest slopes for your afternoon of in-the-know skiing.

Mont Fort
Hire a qualified pro and ski the back side of Mont Fort, a fantastic freeski paradise that will take you through Verbier’s back country terrain.
