A 51-year-old woman was killed in a crash this morning.
At 8:05 a.m., paramedics responded to a call about a motor vehicle collision between a car and a minivan that occurred on Charlemagne Boulevard near Bottreill Way.
At the scene, paramedics treated the 51-year-old female driver of the car for life-threatening head and internal injuries. Paramedics declared the woman dead at the scene.
Paramedics also treated the 60-year-old male driver of the minivan for neck and back injuries. He is in stable condition in the hospital. A passenger in the minivan at the time of the collision was not injured.
Ottawa police are now investigating the incident.
