Blake Nill knows his Calgary Dinos’ offence is facing a stiff challenge.

Although the Dinos have scored 35 or more points in five straight games — including a 35-8 shellacking of the Saint Mary’s Huskies in last Saturday’s Mitchell Bowl — the Laval Rouge et Or have allowed a stingy 6.4 points per game.

The Dinos and Rouge et Or clash in Saturday’s Vanier Cup in Quebec City at 12:45 p.m., live on TSN.

“Their defence is very, very good. They are very athletic,” said Nill, a longtime head coach at Saint Mary’s. “With them, it’s not just one guy. You have to be aware of all of them at all times.”
