For one vegetarian it was a four day exploration that finally led to some healthy, vegetarian delight.
Jules Rizzuto couldn’t find anything vegetarian to eat besides cheese on a stick, but that just wasn’t cutting it until she found flatbread, whole wheat pizza through the popular Avatara on the grounds.
“I wish they had veggie corn dogs, but this is a really good second to that. It was just disappointing to walk around and see nothing I could eat until I found this place,” she said.
Avatara specializes in whole wheat, gluten-free and special diet pizza that can pretty much be tailored to anyone, and it’s been a hit according to part-owner Ryan Wright. “People are really enjoying it and we also have specialty lemonade, too,” he said.
