Abbotsford man, 49, dead in shooting

A 49-year-old Abbotsford resident is dead after an early-morning shooting on Thursday.

Abbotsford police were received several 911 calls from residents in the 3000 block of Charles Court.

When they arrived, officers found a late model Toyota sedan with the body of a man who’d been shot to death.

The man, whose name is not being released, was well known to police, investigators said.

Police say they don’t believe the incident was random.
