Democrats are calling for the resignation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, but President Donald Trump is standing by his man after accusations Sesssions misled Congress about meetings with Russian diplomats during his confirmation hearings.

During his confirmation, Sessions did not mention two meetings with the top Russian diplomat in Washington— the same one whose interactions with former national security adviser Michael Flynn led to Flynn’s resignation, according to the Justice Department.
