All access to the Stamps

Some Stampeders fans are more excited than usual for the upcoming season that kicked off with yesterday’s home opener against the Toronto Argonauts.

“This is the first year season’s tickets have been offered to disabled people,” said Ken Itterman, who uses a motorized scooter to get around.

Itterman has been attending Stamps games for the past seven years, but this is the first year he knows he won’t have to miss a game, he said. “It’s amazing, the best deal in town for disabled people.”

The wheelchair tickets cost only $50 for the season and are complimentary for the attendant. The entire amount of fees collected through the reserve seating is donated to charity at the end of the season.
