Another woman has died from injuries suffered in a Toronto apartment fire that killed a pregnant woman and her four-year-old son last week.
Natalie Burgher died of complications from smoke inhalation last Wednesday — the day after the fatal blaze.
Burgher, who was 25, had a one-year-old son.
It is not clear why her death was not disclosed until now.
A fourth person found in the ninth-floor apartment of the west-end highrise remains in hospital.
Investigators still aren’t sure what started the fire, or why the four occupants in the apartment were all asleep in a back room at 6 p.m.
The fire is believed to have started in the living room couch and quickly spread.
