MOENCHENGLADBACH, Germany - Borussia Moenchengladbach says Argentine striker Raul Bobadilla is moving to Swiss club Young Boys.
Moenchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl says the 24-year-old Bobadilla found it hard to establish himself as a starter in the opening half of the season, "so the transfer makes sense for him at this time."
Bobadilla scored eight goals in 59 Bundesliga games for Moenchengladbach.
Moenchengladbach says it received several offers for the striker, including from Bundesliga rivals.
Bobadilla previously played for Zurich club Grasshopper.
