Delta police say a 47-year-old Surrey man was arrested after they found six kilograms of doda, an opium-based drug, during a raid.
Police also seized 15 kilograms of opium seed used for planting and 3,600 opium pods, from which doda is produced.
In addition to the drug, police discovered a commercial grinding machine, digital scales, a machete, a replica pellet handgun and cash.
Doda is a powder made from opium poppies. It’s known as a “stay-awake” drug used by some taxi and truck drivers.
