Arrest made, but victim sought

The Cape Breton Regional Police have a unique situation on their hands this morning. 

The Cape Breton Regional Police have a unique situation on their hands this morning.

The police have made an arrest in a stabbing that occurred Tuesday night just after 10 p.m. on William Street in Whitney Pier, but they are still looking for the victim.

When police arrived on the scene, they located a male youth who matched the description of the suspect. He was arrested and a weapon was seized but the victim could not be located by police.

The suspect arrested is still in police custody pending further investigation.
