Police have made an arrest in a machete attack that sent a man to hospital with a broken collar bone.
The attack took place Tuesday afternoon at 89 Street and 118 Avenue when a man was first pushed to the ground, then spat on, police said.
When the victim tried to get up he was struck with a machete.
Police, responding to 9-1-1 calls, found a suspect matching the description nearby.
Tyrone Jackson, 20, is charged with assault with a weapon, possession of an offensive weapon and breach of recognizance.
