If you’ve ever been to Washington D.C. and made a stop at Ben’s Chili Bowl on U Street, you’re probably aware of the large mural of Bill Cosby’s face on the wall of the famous food spot.
On Monday, the Bill Cosby mural featured on the local landmark was defaced.
Artist Smear Leader covered the face of Bill Cosby with a picture of Kim Jong Un, leader of North Korea, and posted it to Instagram.

The artist expressed his feelings on Instagram about Cosby and why he defaced the mural.
“Kim's Chili Bowl. Instead of looking at a sexual predator, people can celebrate in jubilation that the great leader is now on the their Wall. Eat s**t Cosby," he wrote.
Smear Leader is known for placing Kim Jong Un stickers all over the city on walls and street signs. Two months ago, the artist covered the Washington Redskins logo with the smiling face of Kim Jong Un.
According to a report by the Washington Post, co-owner of Ben’s Chili Bowl is “not prepared” to talk about what happened to the mural.
