Ottawa police have charged a 25-year-old city woman with aggravated assault after a man suffered life-threatening cuts to his neck, face and head after falling through a ground-floor glass window Sunday.
Just after 2 p.m., police attended an incident at a south-end apartment building at 2850 Cedarwood Dr., where they found a male in the lobby of the building who had suffered lacerations to his neck, face and head.
Paramedics transported the male to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but his condition improved yesterday, said Ottawa police Const. J.P. Vincelette.
A woman was located within the building and arrested in relation to this incident shortly after police attended the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
The suspect appears in court Feb. 10.
