Bus stops were the venue of choice for suspects in two attacks on women over the past week.





In the first of two separate attacks, a man grabbed a woman by the shoulder in broad daylight at a bus stop at 17 Ave and Glenwood Dr. SW in the community of Glendale.





The woman swung her purse at the suspect and began walking away when the man caught up and punched the woman in the face, knocking her to the ground.





The suspect fled eastbound on 17 Ave after the assault.





Police are looking for a Caucasian male, about 35-years-old, 5-feet 8-inches, medium build and blue eyes. He was wearing a black toque, black jacket, blue jeans and had an eastern European accent.





In another attack yesterday, a 12-year-old girl was waiting for a bus at Athens Dr. and Acadia Dr. SE around 7:50 a.m., when she was approach from behind by a man who grabbed her around the chest and fondled her.





The victim struggled from the attacker and was able to escape and flag down a passing bus.





Cops are looking for a Caucasian male, 40- to 45-years-old, approximately 5-feet, 11 inches tall with an average build. He wore a dark toque, dark vest and a sweater underneath, with blue jeans and running shoes.
