Re: Atheist ads promote debate, understanding (Feb. 5)
It is plain to see that spirituality has a strong bearing on morality, apart from a few exceptions. No wonder our society is suffering from murders, rapes, and assorted crimes. Toronto transit will have contributed to the furtherance of these evils, which will continue.
As per the 30th anniversary Reader’s Digest Reader, Nobel Prize winner Dr. Robert Millikan said, “Just how we fit into the plans of the Great Architect and how much He has assigned us to do, we do not know, but if we fail in our assignment it is pretty certain that part of the job will be left undone. But fit in we certainly do somehow, else we would not have a sense of our own responsibility. A purely materialistic philosophy is to me the height of unintelligence.”
I applaud the Victoria and Halifax transit systems. Shame on Toronto transit.
