Governor General Award-winning poet Don Domanski received another honour for his latest collection of poetry, All Our Wonder Unavenged.

Domanski was the winner of the Atlantic Poetry Prize at last night’s Atlantic Book Awards held at Alderney Landing.

Other award recipients last night included Don Hannah, who won the Thomas Raddall Atlantic Fiction Prize for his novel Ragged Island, and Marq Richardson, who received the non-fiction prize for Witch In The Wind: The True Story Of The Legendary Bluenose.

His book also took home the Dartmouth Book Award for Non-Fiction, while Beatrice MacNeil won in the fiction category for Where White Horses Gallop.

The Margaret and John Savage First Book Award went to local writer Stephanie Domet for Homing: The Whole Story (From The Inside Out).

Other winners included Richard Rudnicki, K.V. Johansen and Jacques Poitrass.
