Nova Scotia's newest party will have a candidate in the Cumberland South byelection on Oct. 26.

Atlantica Party Leader Jonathan Dean has confirmed his fledgling party is looking for a candidate to run in the byelection and suggested either he or another executive member would run if the candidate search is unsuccessful.

Conservative Leader Jamie Baillie is running for the Tories, Kenny John Jackson for the Liberals and Scott McKee for the NDP.
