B.C. Greens release platform

To address the serious issues of our time, such as violence and global warming, “we have to do things differently,” according to B.C. Green party Leader Jane Sterk.

On Thursday, the party released its platform, with a call to legalize marijuana, ban Tasers and immediately address climate change.

“The current gang wars are a result of the failed war on drugs,” Sterk added. “The last time in history we saw this kind of violence was during the prohibition of alcohol.”
