Paris in summer can be positively prohibitive. Yes, there are some of the most substantial hotels in the world, but you’ll need one of the most substantial bank accounts in the world to fully enjoy them.

Amazingly this sub-$120 lays in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower and has the feel of a hotel twice the price. All rooms en-suite with marbled bathrooms, individual air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and late bar.

An amazingly contemporary and cool hotel for the money. Flat panel TV’s, Wi-Fi, A/C, gym, and a lot of style. Breakfast only, but lots of great
restaurants nearby.

4. Hotel Trianon Gare de Lyon

Truly charming hotel near the Place de Bastille. Contemporary rooms with A/C, TV, Wi-Fi, and a lovely stone vault breakfast room.

5. Pavillon Monceau

Comfy and reasonably stylish hotel that’s a mere five-minute walk form the Champs Elysees. All the apartment-style rooms are ensuite with mini kitchen facilities, and although there is no restaurant, there are many cafes close by.
