Time has almost run out for procrastinators who haven’t yet snapped a photo of the Olympic Countdown Clock outside the Vancouver Art Gallery.

The clock, which was unveiled 1,338 days ago at the three-year countdown to the 2010 Games, will be dismantled and split into two.

Preparations will begin today and the clock will be removed beginning tomorrow.

The Olympic side of the clock will be moved inside a renovated B.C. Place and will display the time of day and the date.

The Paralympic side will be shipped to the day lodge at the Whistler Olympic Park and will be used to count down to future special events.
