Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber may be singing a happier tune after RCMP declined to recommend charges stemming from an incident during a laser-tag game.

“The evidence doesn’t support (charges),” said Cpl. Sherrdean Turley. “There’s certain elements or criteria that have to be met and, in this case, what was collected doesn’t support a charge.”

The father of a 12-year-old boy told police his son was assaulted by another boy and had minor injuries that didn’t require medical attention at the time.

Bieber’s camp never denied it and has never commented on the allegations.
