PREDATORS 5 - WINGS 3

Ryan Suter and Jason Arnott scored nine seconds apart in the third period as the Predators rallied for a 5-3 win over the Detroit Red Wings in Game 3 of their Western Conference quarter-final set last night in Nashville.

Alexander Radulov and Suter each had a goal and an assist while David Legwand and Martin Erat each scored for the Predators, who now trail Detroit 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.

Jiri Hudler had a goal and an assist while Kris Draper and Pavel Datsyuk also scored in the loss.

Nashville was trailing 3-2 and looking a 3-0 series deficit in the face, but a pair of goals separated by just nine seconds gave the team a 4-3 lead.

Jan Hlavac skated into the Detroit end then fed the disc over to the left circle for Suter, who blasted a shot past Dominik Hasek with 3:57 left.

After the faceoff at centre, Arnott got the puck from Radulov, and blasted a slapshot from the right circle over the left shoulder of a frozen Hasek for a 4-3 lead.
