Body found on Constitution Beach in East Boston

A passerby found the body of an adult male on the shore Monday morning, officials said.

State police were investigating at Constitution Beach Monday morning after a body was discovered washed up on its shore.

A passerby discovered the body, believed to be that of an adult male, around 8 a.m., according to a release from the Suffolk District Attorney’s Office.

No further identification was immediately available, said DA spokesman Jake Wark in an email.
