On Thursday night, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Mayor’s ONEin3 council will host “Boston City Hall After Hours,” a networking event for the city’s young professionals.

The hope: to make City Hall more inviting for the Hub’s young up and comers.

“This is an opportunity to learn about many initiatives taking place within City Hall that directly impact young professionals in Boston” said Chloe Ryan, manager at ONEin3.

The organization operates through city hall to better connect Boston’s young adult population with resources related to civic engagement, housing, entrepreneurship and the arts.

“ONEin3 hosts events and programming throughout the year aimed at increasing civic engagement, encouraging long term residency and having fun,” said Ryan. “Involvement with ONEin3 offers a great opportunity for young adults to get to know the city, their peers and their neighborhood better.”

Participants of the event will be able to enjoy refreshments from Boston Brewin, experience a Twitter activated jukebox #CityHallJukeBox, and take part in interactive activities aimed around the future of Boston. They will be able to meet and interact with innovators at City Hall, as well as learn about city-wide initiatives that impact young adults.
