A 14-year-old boy is suffering from critical head injuries following a serious accident on Highway 407.
teen was in the back passenger side of the car travelling with his

The mother and daughter were taken to
Etobicoke General Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening
injuries. The father suffered minor injuries and is with his son at
Sick Children's hospital in Toronto.
Woodford said investigators
on scene were interviewing the single driver of the pickup truck and
other witnesses. "We're not 100 per cent sure of what happened. We'll
look at numerous things — speed, fatigue," said Woodford. He said
investigators do not believe alcohol was a factor.
Three lanes of
the highway and the shoulder were closed while police, ambulance and
fire crews investigated. The highway has since reopened.
