Bear spray was the weapon of choice for a couple of assailants who apparently broke into a Dartmouth apartment late yesterday morning.
Halifax Regional Police said that just after 11 a.m. they responded to the 100 block of Highfield Park Drive, where the suspects entered the home and sprayed two male victims with the stinging substance. The suspects took off with stolen cash in hand.
One of the two people inside the apartment also reported being struck by an object believed to be a gun, but Staff Sgt. Sean Auld said yesterday evening that police weren’t sure they had gotten “the full story” yet.
