At first glance, two Calgarians driving across the country in an RV bulging at the seams with pairs of men’s underwear might seem a little odd.
However strange it may seem, Brent King and Robb Price are hoping to “deliver a little dignity” by bringing 30,000 pairs of underwear to shelters across the nation in the GotGinch drive.
King came to the Mustard Seed with one question — “what do you need?” He soon discovered underwear was first and foremost.
“I suspect that (underwear) is one of the first luxuries given up on the way to the street, perhaps it should be the first restored,” he said.
Price also runs DeliverGood.org, which connects “charities who need stuff with people who have stuff.”
