An 11-year veteran of the Calgary Police Service has been charged in an off-duty incident that occurred last June.
Following an investigation by the CPS District 7 office, the member has been charged with one count each of common assault and uttering threats.
His work status will be determined later this week.
The officer’s name is not being released in accordance with CPS policy.
