Calgary police probe apparent SE shooting

Calgary Police were on scene at a SE gas bar early this morning investigating reports of a shooting.

Calgary police are reviewing surveillance footage to unearth more details surrounding a shooting in the southeast early this morning.


According to police, they were called to a strip mall at 15566 McIvor Blvd. SE for reports of an injured man. Upon arrival, they found a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound.


Police do not believe the man was shot at the gas bar location where he was found, and they are seeking more clues to the original shooting scene. Police do not know how the man arrived at the McIvor Blvd. SE location.
