There will be a new gateway to the Greatest Show on Earth, thanks to a $170 million dollar expansion; which will include restaurants, bars, retail stores as well commercial space.
Six new buildings will be going up, including a new Stampede headquarters.
The anchor tenant of the project will be Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville; a US restaurant chain with locations in Mexico and the Caribbean as well. “This is the launch of Margaritaville in Canada obviously and to be part of a development such as this is just an incredible opportunity,” said George Davidson, President of Margaritaville Canada.
Construction is expected to begin in the spring with completion set for 2012.
