On Oct. 2, more than one million people will attend the fifth edition of Toronto’s free all-night contemporary arts festival, Nuit Blanche.
If all goes well, there will be a similar event held in Ottawa next fall.
On Monday, Nuit Blanche Ottawa will be holding its community interest meeting at the Arts Court Library at 7 p.m.
Ottawa’s version of the event will duplicate events in Toronto and Montreal, said Kel Morin Parsons, who is co-organizing the meeting along with Lauryn Kronick.
Ottawa has its own arts scene that will determine the flavour and shape the event and how quickly it grows.
