A new date for the Megadeth and Slayer show was announced yesterday for Halifax.
The show, titled Canadian Carnege, feauturing the two heavy metal bands will now take place at the Halifax Metro Centre Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 6:40 p.m.
The show – part of a cross-Canada tour that also sees Testament take the stage – was originally scheduled for Nov. 9, but was postponed after Slayer guitarist Tom Araya suffered a back injury.

The same ticket series for the original show will be honoured for the new date. Those who can’t make the new show date can obtain a refund until Dec. 14.
Tickets for the show are $64.50 each.
