A heavy metal concert set for Halifax next week featuring Slayer and Megadeth has been postponed.

The show, titled Canadian Carnage, was set to rock the Halifax Metro Centre next Tuesday. A back injury to Slayer's Tom Araya is the reason for the postponement.

Gillett Entertainment Group, which is promoting the tour, said in a release yesterday that fans who have purchased tickets to the Halifax show to hold onto them as they are working on rescheduling the concert.
