Canadian dollar closed at 99.65 cents US

TORONTO – The Canadian dollar closed at 99.65 cents US on Wednesday, up 0.65 of a cent from Tuesday’s close.

The U.S. dollar stood at 100.35 cents Cdn, down 0.64 of a cent.

Pound sterling closed at C$1.5723, down 0.49 of a cent, and US$1.5668, up 0.51 of a cent.

The Euro was worth C$1.3158, up 0.04 of a cent.
