Canadian dollar closed at 99.72 cents US

TORONTO – The Canadian dollar closed at 99.72 cents US on Tuesday, unchanged from Monday’s close.

The U.S. dollar stood at 100.28 cents Cdn, unchanged.

Pound sterling closed at C$1.5799, up 0.54 of a cent, and US$1.5755, up 0.54 of a cent.

The Euro was worth C$1.3115, down 0.53 of a cent.
