Is the global credit crunch taking its toll on you?
That’s what new research from The Body Shop suggests. The recently conducted online survey reveals two out of every five people (41.9 per cent) are losing one hour or more of sleep each night than in previous years, with women being more affected than men.
Financial worries were the number one sleep depriver, cited by 29 per cent of respondants.
The good news was that most people’s antidote to sleeplessness was a cost-free one: Sex. A third of men (34.6 per cent) and 23.4 per cent of women revealed this as the best remedy.
For a less frisky solution, the beauty retailer launched a new Deep Sleep Dreamy Pillow & Body Mist product ($16). It includes camomile, jujube date and geranium.
