There is only one level of taxpayer, but he’s having the life sucked out of him by three “piranha” governments, according to Ottawa mayoral candidate Stan Pioro.
“We absolutely must have tax cuts,” said Stan Pioro.
“Taxpayers are overloaded. We simply can’t maintain the numbers and the cost of civil servants at the municipal level.”
Pioro would deliver a five per cent tax reduction by drastically reducing the number of people employed by the city and cancelling the downtown tunnel, the new main library and the Lansdowne Park redevelopment plan.
