The world sprint canoe-kayak champion-ships are moving ahead according to plan, an official with the International Canoe Federation said yesterday.
Simon Toulson, secretary general for the ICF, is in Dartmouth for a three-day visit to Lake Banook, the site of the world championships from Aug. 12 to 16.
“To be honest, things are looking really good,” Toulson said. “The plans by the city and the organizing committee look very impressive. If it all comes into place, we just need good weather and good competition, come August.”
