TORONTO – The Canadian dollar opened at 100.23 cents US, up 0.51 of a cent from Monday’s close.
The U.S. dollar stood at 99.77 cents Cdn, down 0.51 of a cent.
Pound sterling was worth C$1.5749, up 0.04 of a cent and US$1.5785 up 0.84 of a cent.
The euro was worth C$1.3147, down 0.21 of a cent.
