Cdn dollar opened at 98.70 cents US, down 0.32

TORONTO – The Canadian dollar opened at 98.70 cents US, down 0.32 of a cent from Tuesday’s close.

The U.S. dollar stood at 101.32 cents Cdn, up 0.33 of a cent.

Pound sterling was worth C$1.5776, up 0.04 of a cent and US$1.5570, down 0.47 of a cent.

The euro was worth C$1.3130, down 0.24 of a cent.
