Football fever strikes Edmonton today as official Grey Cup festivities kick off.

Huddle Town will open to the public in Churchill Square, with a huge party to mark the event. The free event starts at 5:30 p.m. at city hall.

Fans can participate in a number of events, ranging from entertainment on the Sirius Satellite Radio Stage, the CN Field, the Capital Power Zipline, the EPCOR Huddle Dome, and tons of other attractions.

The game, featuring the Montreal Alouettes and Saskat­chewan Roughriders, takes place this Sunday.
