A 37-year-old Dartmouth man is facing several charges including weapons-related offences after police allege a loaded handgun was seized from a vehicle.

Police say the gun was found after a traffic stop on Queen Street in Dartmouth on Sunday at 9:10 p.m. Police say during the stop, they determined the driver was in violation of his conditions.

He was then arrested, and police say a subsequent search resulted in the handgun being seized.

Scott Graham Blair was scheduled to appear yesterday in Dartmouth provincial court on the charges, which also included breach of conditions.
