The Chaudière Crossing will reopen to all traffic including heavy trucks and buses at 6 a.m. on Friday, May 15, at 6 a.m., according to Public Works and Government Services Canada.
The Chaudière Crossing which bridges Ottawa and Gatineau by the Canadian War Museum, was closed on Dec. 3 after an engineering inspection revealed the two of the arches were more deteriorated than anticipated. On Dec. 10, PWGSC was reopened one lane in each direction.
