Chelsea Clinton wants the media and everyone else to leave Barron Trump alone.
Chelsea Clinton recently came to the defense of President Trump’s youngest son Barron, after discovering an article that was put out criticizing the way the 11-year-old dresses.
On Monday, the Daily Caller published a story with the headline “It’s High Time Barron Trump Starts Dressing Like He’s In the White House.” The article criticizes the way he dresses when he’s with his parents in public.
She took to social media to express her feelings about the article and encouraged the media to leave Barron alone.

Many of the people who responded to her tweet showed support for her statement by saying things like “Why should it matter what he wears?” and “Leave him alone, he’s 11!”
The article first points out that Barron Trump is “just a normal 11-year-old kid” but goes on and tries to make and argument about him needing to dress better.
“One thing that isn’t normal though is the way he dresses when he joins his parents for a public appearance,” the Daily Caller wrote in the article.
The photo that used to criticize Barron Trump’s fashion choices was taken on Sunday, August 20. President Trump, Melania Trump and Barron Trump were arriving at the White House after spending two weeks in New Jersey.
The Daily Caller pointed out that president and the first lady traveled in “their Sunday best,” while Barron looked like he was going on a “trip to the movie theater.”
The article continues to dissect Barron’s fashion choices by pointing out that the child of a president should at least “dress the part” when stepping out in public.
In all fairness, Barron Trump is 11 years old and he was returning from a family trip. It’s the summer and he was dressed the way any other pre-teen would, maybe with the exception of the suede Gucci loafers he was also wearing in the photograph.
This isn’t the first time Chelsea Clinton has taken the side of Barron Trump.
During Trump’s inauguration, there were plenty of people on social media who directed their comments at Barron Trump.
“Barron Trump deserves the chance every child does-to be a kid,” she wrote in a tweet.
