Vowing to find those responsible for gunning down an innocent man on New Year’s Day, the city’s police chief addressed the escalating gang violence in the city yesterday.
“This act was so heinous in its nature that we will not, will not, give up on finding those responsible,” police Chief Rick Hanson told reporters. “It was absolutely irreprehensible and we will be going after those responsible harder than we usually do.”
Hanson said it is the Calgary Police’s top priority to find the three suspects for the New Year’s Day killing that left innocent bystander Keni Su’a dead in a targeted gang hit that killed a known gang member and an associate.
