The city is offering up a number of tours at three of Edmonton’s heritage cemeteries this summer.

Each tour is $5, which includes a historical tour booklet, according to city organizers.

The city says it will offer tours at the Edmonton Cemetery, the city’s first and only cemetery near 118 Street and 107 Avenue. Tours will also include the Mount Pleasant Cemetery near 54 Avenue and 106 Street and the Beechmount Cemetery near 124 Avenue and 104 Street.

Anyone can sign up online for the cemetery tours at www.ereg.edmonton.ca or by calling 311, says the city.

Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Insect repellent is recommended and pre-registration is recommended but drop-ins are always welcome.

All tours run from 7-8:30 p.m.
