City police looking for robbery suspects

Ottawa police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects believed to be involved in four separate armed robberies that took place between Oct. 15, 2008 and Jan. 8.

Ottawa police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects believed to be involved in four separate armed robberies that took place between Oct. 15, 2008 and Jan. 8.

The first robbery occurred on Oct. 15 at the Bob MacQuarrie Recreation Complex on Youville Drive in Orleans.

The second and third robberies occurred at a Food Basics grocery store in the 1400 block of Merivale Road on Dec. 8 and 22, 2008, and the fourth robbery occurred at the Independent grocery store in the 1600 block of Orleans Boulevard on Jan. 8. The suspects are all Caucasian males in their early 20s. One of the suspects has a large tattoo on his right inside forearm.
